Matthew Flesch Sent in by his son, Francis Flesch Francis Flesch's dad, Matthew, was on his way to Lewistown for a doctor's appointment on the morning he was killed. He was traveling with his wife, Agatha, headed east from Judith Gap. Eyewitnesses report that as the Flesch's car descended Beaver Creek Hill, seven miles west of Lewistown on U.S. 87, it began to weave slightly. An oncoming car, carrying a vacationing couple from Nebraska, pulled to the right in an attempt to miss the Flesch's car. However, Matthew's car struck the Nebraska car, sending it down a steep embankment on the right side of the road. Matthew and Agatha were thrown from their car upon impact. There is no cross at the site. |
