Glen Allen Elling Sent in by his mother, Elva Glen was killed at the junction of US Hwy. 2 and MT Hwy. 223 at Chester, MT. His cross is at that intersection. The road was a little icy that day and he went across the highway and ran into the side of the railroad track. He was alone and not wearing a seat belt. He died from injuries he sustained in the accident. Glen loved to farm and took pride in his work; keeping his furrows straight and true. He helped in the kitchen at family dinners. He took care of his mother's yard and was very fussy and wanted to please her. He loved his sisters and his three nephews and one niece and would even baby sit them. He was quite a visitor and could talk to anyone no matter what age they were. Glen participated in Hi-Line bowling and softball leagues and enjoyed trap shooting. He was a fan of the NFL; he had many friends and participated in many weddings. He never married. |
